Asymptomatic children do not need any treatment according to the guideline. However, it is important to pay attention to them as they may show symptoms of corona after a while. Corona in children should be treated according to their symptoms.

Children who have mild symptoms such as sore throat, runny nose, cough can be treated at home. For fever it is advisable to give paracetamol every 4-6 hours. For coughs, children should be given as much fluid as possible to rinse with warm water and maintain hydration. Among the mild symptoms, children are also advised not to give antibiotics.

Children with moderate symptoms of corona may also be affected by pneumonia. However, this does not require frequent lab tests. Children with moderate symptoms can also be admitted to Kovid Hospital. Amoxicillin can also be given to children for bacterial infections. And if there is less than 94% oxygen, it is also advisable to give oxygen supplementation.
